Information and protocols

We are back at work! This is great news, of course, but it comes with some changes to the way we normally do business. Fortunately, with just two therapists, we don’t have heavy traffic through the office. With a max of about 6 clients per day, it is much easier to maintain social distancing and thorough disinfecting. In order for both our clients and ourselves to be as safe as possible, the following protocols are in place. Some we’ve done all along, others are in direct response to COVID-19.

- Therapists and clients will be required to wear masks. You can bring your own clean mask with you, and put it on before entering the office, or we will provide you with a mask at the door. We know it's a drag, but it is a critical safety feature, especially for those with health issues, who are more vulnerable.

- A no-touch thermometer will be used to check temperatures on all clients, and daily on therapists.

- Please proceed directly to the restroom to wash you hands when you arrive. We wash our hands before and after each client.

- If you are feverish, coughing, have shortness of breath, chills, sore throat or new loss of taste or smell, please do not come in. Call or text your therapist to cancel, or reschedule.  

- If you are, or have been sick, please reschedule your appointment for 14 days out, just to be safe.

- To help with social distancing, we ask that you text us when you arrive, and remain in your vehicle until we text you that we are ready for you to come in. This ensures that fewer people spend less time in common spaces, and allows us plenty of time to disinfect after the last client. (if you don't text, calling is good, too.)

- Only one person per appointment allowed inside.

- Therapists who experience symptoms will not work, and will be tested a.s.a.p.. If the results are positive, we’ll contact clients who may have been exposed.

- All sheets, face cradle covers, blankets, bolster covers and towels will be washed after every use.

- Face cradles and massage tables will be disinfected after each client.

- All surfaces and high touch areas will be disinfected between each client. This includes door knobs, door jambs, door surfaces, light switch plates, table surfaces, etc.

- The bathroom will be disinfected between uses.

- Soft surfaces, such as chairs, will be spray disinfected between uses.

- Pens, clipboards, payment devices, phones, etc. will be disinfected between clients. We are looking in to online payment options and touchless card readers as well.  

We hope these actions are reassuring, and give you confidence about seeing us as we all work to stay well during this pandemic.
